FAIR AND MILD Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Light variable winds; weather fair, with moderate to mild day temperatures. hut some frosts inland. Further Outlook.—Fair. Weather in Dunedin.—Beautifully fine conditions were experienced in Dunedin during the greater part of yesterday, the sun shining brightly until well into the afternoon, when light cloud covered the sky. There was a light south-west breeze, and the. barometer w r as high and comparatively steady, the reading at midnight being 30.40 inches (1029 millibars).
