FAIR AND MILD Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was Issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington : Fresh northerly winds, backing to south-westerly;, weather fair and mild at first, but a period of showers with the change of wind and colder temperatures. Further Outlook.—Mainly fair and , cool.-' • ■ ■ r ’ • "Weather in Dunedin!—Fine and warm conditions were experienced in Dunedin yesterday. There was unbroken sunshine throughout the day, and there was practically no wind until the mid-afternoon, when a moderate north-east breeze sprang up. The barometer remained fairly steady, the reading at midnight being 29.98 in (1015 millibars). The following are the meteorological observations taken yesterday at the Daily Times Office: —
