ELABORATE PRECAUTIONS PASSPORTS FOR CHARWOMEN (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 10. “ One hundred charwomen underwent many days of scrutiny and examination before being given jobs that any spy would give a fortune to get,” says the Daily Mail. * They are working at invasion headquarters in London. . “Each women is issued with a special passport which she must produce to sentries at the entrance to every room. When she wants to dust a really important leader’s office she first of all puts her passport through a slot in the door, after which she is uShered in by two guards carrying pistols. Every woman is on her honour not to divulge anything she sees or hears.”
