ENEMY RESISTANCE CEASES WASHINGTON, Feb. 8. The capture of the Kwajalein atoll is now completed. The Navy-Department has announced that all organised Japanese resistance in the atoll has ceased. JAPANESE ADMIRAL’ KILLED NEW YORK, Feb. 3. The Tokio official radio announced that Vice-admiral Tervo Akiyama was killed in action on the southern front. The date and place of Admiral Akiyama’s death have not been disclosed, but the United Press comments that prisoners disclosed that the admiral was in command at Kwajalein, and it is presumed that that is where he was killed.
