SPIES IN ARGENTINA

LEADERS UNDER HOUSE ARREST BUENOS AIRES, (Rec. 10 p.m.) Feb. 8. The Federal police announced that the German military attache, General Wolf, and the Japanese naval attache, Rear-admiral Yukishita, and his assistant, Captain Kameda, were placed under house arrest when investigations showed that they actively participated in espionage in Argentina. The police said the three men were leaders of spy activities. Much evidence, which would soon be disclosed, indicated that the German espionage ring had extraordinary scope.
