OPIUM TRAFFIC
THREE CHINESE FINED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. Fines totalling £175 were imposed by Mr J. L. Stout. S.M., in the Police Court to-day on three Chinese concerned in opium offences. It was mentioned that this type of offence was not now prevalent because of the shortage of opium.
