DENNISTON MINE
SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTE (P-A.) WESTPORT. Feb. 9.
The Westport Coal Company’s Denniston milie is expected to resume work to-morrow. Details of the settlement were not available to-day.
It was reported yesterday that the truckers at the mine claimed a payment under conditions which the management regarded as being contrary to the agreement. After a stop-work meeting all the men returned home.
