SOUTHLAND WOOL APPRAISAL

The offering of 33,553 bales of wool at the third wool appraisal in Invercargill was a record for the province. In past seasons there have been large offerings, on one occasion in excess of 32,000 bales, but a figure as high as this has never been reached before.
