SIX ENEMY SHIPS SUNK
CONVOY ATTACKED OFF CHINA CHUNGKING, Feb. 6. American Liberators and Mitchells attacked a Japanese convoy of .nine ships off South-east China, sinking six. including three 5600-ton vessels, and
probably destroying another, says a communique issued by General J. Stilwell, commander of the United States forces in the Far East. The American bombers suffered no loss.
