FRANCE. —On January 9, 1944, at Dunedin, Marion Erskine, dearly loved youngest daughter of the late John and Margaret France, of “ Brucefield,” Milton, and loved sister of Margaret, 98 Musselburgh rise, Dunedin, and James, 99 Richardson street, St. Kilda. “ Her end was peace.”— Private interment at Milton. —R. LUKE.—On Sunday, January 9, 1944, at his residence, 37 Silverton street, Anderson’s Bay, James Mason, dearly loved husband of Janet Cowan Luke, and father of James and Bert (overseas); in his sixty-ninth year.
