REMOVAL OF MOSLEY

VILLAGERS SIGN PETITION LONDON, Jan. 4. Residents of the Cotswolds village Shiplon-under-Wychwood signed a petition calling for the removal of Sir Oswald Mosley and his return to gaol. Mosley has been living in an hotel there since his release. The village has a population of 700, of whom 120 signed the petition, which says: “We don’t want him here.” It will be forwarded to the local member of Parliament. A petition is also being signed by some neighbouring villagers. Copies of both petitions are being sent to Mr Churchill and to Mr Herbert Morrison.
