PRESENTATION TO SAILOR

Visual Signalman D. M. Bardsley was recently presented with an engraved cigarette case and a clothes brush from the Mos Kiel Signal Section of the Home Guard, of which unit he wab at one time the youngest member. Good wishes were expressed by Second-lieutenant E. J. Mason and Sergeant R. L. Fairmaid, who made the presentation on behalf of members. Later, Mr W. P. Hartstonge, the Mayor of Mosgiel, on behalf of the citizens, presented Signalman Bardsley with an Initialled pocket wallet and conveyed best wishes to him.
