IMPERIAL CO-OPERATION
AMENDMENT TO ADDRESS-IN-REPLY LONDON, Nov. 25. Six members of the House of Commons put down an amendment to the Address-in-Reply regretting that there was no reference in the King’s Speech to any proposals for an improvement in the machinery of interimperial consultation and co-operation, the need for which has been stressed by the Prime Minister of Australia (Mr J. Curtin), and also regretting that there was no reference to the need for much more frequent meetings of the Imperial Conference. ,
