At 4.31 a.m. yesterday the Central Fire Brigade turned out to an automatic false alarm from Messrs McLeod Bros., Ltd. A small fire which broke out in some rubbish on the premises of Messrs White and Co., wool and skin merchants, called the brigade out at 7.26 a.m. Little damage was done.
