INJURIES TO HIP Mrs Lily Marshall, a married woman, aged 55, who lives at 542 Main South road, was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital at 9.30 last night, suffering, from injuries to her left hip, received when she fell down some stairs at Butterfields, Ltd., in the Octagon. DEATH FROM INJURIES (P.A.) WELLINGTON,' Nov. 25. A fractured skull and a probable fracture of the right leg were suffered by Mr S. Nelson, aged 27, a railway grab driver, when he was knocked down by a motor lorry on the Hutt road last night. He died in hospital at 11.25 a.m. to-day.

DREDGE WORKER KILLED

(P A.) GREYMOUTH, Nov. 25. Mr Henry Hugh Taggart, aged 42 single, was killed on the Ngahere Gold Dredge this morning. It is understood that he was draged by the revolving screen into the narrow chute, receiving injuries which proved fatal before he reached the Grey Hospital.
