ENEMY CONVOY ATTACKED

LARGE TANKER TORPEDOED RUGBY, Nov. 24. The Air Ministry announced that Coastal Command Beaufighters, escorted by Spitfires, attacked a convoy off the Dutch coast yesterday afternoon. A large tanker was torpedoed and left down by the stern. Two escort vessels were set on fire and three others seriously damaged. Four Beaufighters are missing.
