ACROSS THE CHANNEL
EARLY INVASION FORECAST LONDON, Nov. 24. The Paris radio’s military commentator (M. Jean Paquis) stated: “ It is believed on good authority that the British and Americans are about to take a jump across the Channel to come to grips with the armoured backbone of the European forces. Maps of France, iron rations for two days, lifebelts, and medical packs have already been issued to American troops. Full equipment for armies has been massed at southern ports in the British Isles.”
