CLOUDY AND MILD Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.ra. yesterday by.the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate to strong north-easterly winds; weather cloudy and mild, with occasional mist or drizzle, chiefly near the coast. Further Outlook.—Rather unsettled. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather yesterday was fine, but the sky was overcast for the greater part of the afternoon. There was a fresh north-easterly breeze, which died down in the evening. A brief shower fell shortly before midnight. The barometer fell slightly during the day', but by midnight had become steady at 30.15 inches (1021 millibars). » The following are the meteorological observations taken yesterday at the Daily Times Office:—
