Weekly Organ Recital.—-Instead of the usual weekly organ recital by Mr L. H. Goddard in the Hall of Memories, Waitaki Boys' High School, yesterday, five boys presented a programme as follows:—A. D. Holland: Fantasia in E minor (Stainer). S A Bryant: Judex, from “ Mors et Vita (Gounod). J. D. Watson: Largo, “From the New World” Symphony (Dvorak). D. Ombler: Funeral March (Beethoven) and Adagio (Pleyel); and C. B. Sattertlnvaite, Melody in F (Rubenstein) and Alla Marcia (Adams). Tides. —High tides to-day at the Port ot Oamaru will be at 7.59 a.m. and 8.25 p.m. Lawn Tennis Club Opening.—The Windsor Lawn Tennis Club opened its season last Saturday in fine weather, when a tournament was held. Some prom sing voting players took part. In the final T. Ellerv and Klitscher defeated M. Turnbull and I. Ellery. Early Settlers.—A meeting of the North Otago Early Settlers’ Association was held on Tuesday afternoon. Mr A. Mclnnes presided, it was decided to hold an evening social gathering in the first week in December.
