JAPANESE SUBMARINE

ARRIVAL AT BORDEAUX LONDON, Nov. 16. The Madrid correspondent of the Daily Mail reports that a Japanese submarine is now lying in the Garonne River at Bordeaux. This is the first time a Japanese submarine has come into Bordeaux, though two others anchored at the mouth of the river. It is believed that the submarine will take to Japan machine tools, optical instruments, and fittings, which arc small in weight and bulk. The voyaj-V takes about 65 days.
