Friendly Bay Society.—The annual meeting of the Friendly Bay Improvement Society is to be held on Wednesday, November 24, not November 28, as previously advertised.
Charge of Theft. —Before Messrs M. C. Jeffery and J. Hendv, J.P.’s, yesterday afternoon, Henry .Tames Williams was charged with stealing a watch’ and chain valued at £5. the property of Albert Erie Cleghcrn. On the application of Detective Sergeant G. Taylor, a remand till next Tuesday was granted.
