OBITUARY
MR H. MOSS (P A ) WELLINGTON, Nov. 16. The death has occurred of Mr Harry Moss, managing d rcctor of Messrs H. W. Moss and Co., tobacco merchants and indent agents; aged 78. For many years he was a prominent figure on the New Zealand and Australian turf, and was the owner of a number of well-known horses. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and three sons. One daughter is Mrs Stewart, wife of Brigadier K. S. Stewart.
MRS E. AYSON
The death occurred ai her home at Toiro recently of Mrs Elizabeth Ayson, widow of Mr Robert Ayson. Sixty years ago, at the age of 23, leaving her home at Ballinacorr, County Armagh, North Ireland, she came Jo New Zealand In the British Queen. She first lived with relatives on the West Coast, but later removed to Toiro, where she met and married her husband. Of a quiet, unassuming disposition, she took no active part in public life, but worked quietly among her family. Latterly her time was spent knitting for the armed forces, her family and friends Each soldier who left the district was presented with a pair of socks knitted by her. She is survived by Ihree daughters (Mrs Stevens, of Auckland, Mrs Neame, of Cambridge, and Miss Emily Ayson, of Toiro.
