THE ISDALE CASE

( PA.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 16. Poiice evidence brought to a close the case for the Crown in the trial of George Brownlee Isdale, aged 51, a medical practitioner. of Ngaruawahia. There are eight Charges against the accused of unlawfully using an instrument or other means with intent to procure a miscarriage, and one of conspiring to procure a miscarriage. Counsel for the defence said he was not calling evidence. Counsel will address 'die jury to-morrow.
