MORE STUDENTS
UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO Figures submitted by the registrar of the University of Otago (Mr H. Chapman) at the meeting of the council yesterday showed a striking increase in the number of students attending the University this year compared with last year The total number of students holding scholarships or bursaries was 940—566 men and 374 women. In the following table comparative figures for 1943 and 1942 are given:—
