DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE National Bank of New Zealands werewanted on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday at £2 12s 6d, with sellers asking £2 13s 6d. In the insurance sections there were buyers of Nationals at £1 4s, New Zealands at £4 5s 6d, South British shares at £3 13s, and Standards at £3 15s 6d. but no sellers came forward. Buyers of Southland Frozen Meats offered £2 Is 6d. There was also a good inquiry for brewery shares, £1 13s 9d being offered for New Zealands, and 15s 9d for Baltins. There was no buyer for Dominions, which were on offer at £2. Shares in the miscellaneous section met with a good inquiry, but there were practically no sellers. Macduffs (ord.) were quoted at 13s 3d (buyers) and 13s 9d* (sellers), and there were buyers of Woolworths (New Zealand) at 16s lOd, the preference issue at £2 and the Sydney issue at 18s, but no sellers came forward.
