Newborough Mothers* Union.—Archdeacon Russell took the opening service at the October meeting of the Newborough Mothers’ Union, and formally received Mrs Naish, from Waimate, and Mrs Tonks, from Westport, as members of the Newborough branch. The Rev. A W. Stace gave an inspiring address on the 23rd Psalm. Mrs W. B. Turvey presided at the meeting. Sympathy was expressed with the president (Mrs MacIntyre) in her illness.
