RAID ON LONDON

SIXTH NIGHT RUNNING (Rec. 1.30 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 22. . London had another alert last night, the sixth on successive nights. Bombs were dropped, causing some damage and casualties. Other places in the south of England were also attacked. One raider was shot down. One enemy aircraft was destroyed in raids on Britain on Wednesday night. On Thursday morning one Foclte-Wulf 190 was shot down in the Channel’ by our fighters.
