LIGHT NAVAL FORCES ENGAGED RUGBY, Oct. 21. The Admiralty states that Norwegian light coastal forces in operation in the Norwegian leads on Tuesday night torpedoed and sank a small merchant ship and damaged a patrol craft by gunfire in a position some 70 miles north of Bergen. British light coastal forces operating in the same area last, Saturday shot down a Focke-Wulf 190. All the Norwegian and British craft have returned safely. There ware some casualties.
