JEWS IN HOLLAND

WHOLESALE DEPORTATION (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 21. Scarcely a single Jew is left in Holland. The final batch of 5000 were; on the night of September 28, taken from Amsterdam to a concentration camp at Westernburg, said Professor P. S. Gerbrandy, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Government in London, iu a broadcast to Holland. He added that a large group of Dutch civil servants were about to be carrried off to Germany as part of an attempt to effect the total destruction of independent Dutch national existence. Professor Gerbrandy called to Netherlanders to resist deportation at all costs and refuse collaboration with the Germans. " The German usurpers,’’ he said, " are attempting to stave off the approaching end by terror and trying to hide their weakness through creating fear.”
