DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE There were again only slight changes in quotations on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday afternoon. National Bank of New Zealand were asked for at £2 9s 9d with sellers offering £2 10s 3d, and National Insurance were on offer at £1 4s, buyers being only 3d away. New Zealand Insurance were quoted at £4 4s (buyer) and £4 5s (seller). The paid issue of New Zealand Refrigerating was wanted at £1 5s 9d and the contributing at 12s 4d, while there were buyers of National Mortgage A at £2 19s, and the P, issue at £1 13s. There was no change in the Brewery section. The demand for Taranaki Oil improved to 4s 6d without attracting sellers. There was a seller of G. J Coles at £3 Is Gd, but no buying oiler was made. The £2 paid issue of New Zealand Drugs was inquired for at £4 9s 6d and the £1 issue at £2 15s, while Woolworths (Syd.) were asked for at 17s 9d, buyers quoting 18s. Yesterday's Sales .Dunedin. NEW ZEALAND NEWSPAPERS, LTD. (Special) AUCKLAND, Sept. 22. An unchanged interim dividend of Gd a share has been declared by New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd. The dividend will be payable on October 1.
