FAIR WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Winds from a westerly quarter, freshening at times; a few scattered showers'in the west and south, but weather otherwise fair; temperatures moderate. Further Outlook.—Similar conditions. Weather in Dunedin.—The sum shon# almost uninterruptedly yesterday and temperatures were cool. There was a light north-easterly breeze. The barometer was fairly steady, the reading at midnight being 30.16 inches (1021 millibars).
