It threatened to stop the re-discounting of Government bills—a measure which would have brought the v'hole machinery of government to a standstill. It is the will to retain or gain office that renders a Political Party vulnerable to such attacks from Financial Power. With an undivided people behind it, a Government can effectively deal with such financial sabotage.
