PLATFORM IN FAVOUR (0.R.) CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 13. A marked improvement has taken place in the weather since Thursday forenoon, and there has been welcome sunshine. The going at Riccarton will be much firmer than on the opening day, and in consequence may bring about a change in form. The card for the concluding dav of the meeting promises to provide a successful conclusion and some good sport.
