GRAND THEATRE
The operations of a “ rustler ’’ gang and the exciting adventures of ,a young westerner when endeavouring to solve a murder mystery provide thrills in tun measure in “Bandit Ranger," the principal attraction in the current programme at the Grand Theatre. Tim Holt is teamed with Joan Barclay at the head of a powerful c.ast. The supporting picture, K Highways by Night," with Richard Carlson and Jane Randolph in l the romantic leads, tells a dramatic story, the plot of which revolves around the experiences of a wealthy young theorist who decides to learn how the other half" lives. His researches lead him into the middle of a gangster killing and a scheme to make him a second victim, which he avoids by sheer luck.
