EMPIRE THEATRE
A SPARKLING COMEDY Sparkling comedy is provided in the Warner Bros.’ comedy, “ Honeymoon for Three,” which-was shown at the Empire Theatre for the first time yesterday. The story tells of one of those long forgotten college romances that happen at the most inopportune time. Just when Ann Sheridan, in the role of a famous author’s secretary, has convinced her employer, an energetic writer, played by George Brent, that he ought' to marry her, along comes a very pretty young matron, played by Osa Massen, who claims him-as the only man suited for her despite the fact that sfie already has a husband. Brent is determined to straighten things out between his college sweetheart and his practical secretary, but the more he tries the worse it becomes. When he assembles everyone at a cosy roadside restaurant for a final showdown, it results in one of the most hilarious scenes imaginable. The box plans are at the theatre and the D.I.C.
