If your last payment was received when you were in a South Island camp your pay book should be posted to the Pay Office Army Department. Christchurch, but if the last payment was made to you tvhen you were Serving overseas your pav book should be sent to Base Records, Army: Headquarters; Wellington. ' (2) If a man’s gross wages do not exceed. £s* 5s per week (that is. if his net wiges do not exceed £4 11s lOd) he is entitled to the full family benefit of 7s 6d a week for each child. The benefit is not affected by the man’s earnings while he was in the army. It is assumed, for the purpose of this answer, that the family ha* no income other than wages, as such in. come is taken into account in fixing thl amount of the benefit.
