THREE AIRMEN KILLED

CRASH AFTER TAKE-OFF (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 16. The three occupants of an R.N.Z.A.F. aircraft were killed when the machine crashed after the take-off on a North Island air station shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday. The men involved were: Squadron Leader Wilfred Maurice Chalk Williams, D.F.C., whose wife lives at Feilding. Leading Aircraftman Harold Joseph Beale; wife, Mrs B. E. Beale. Mount Eden, Auckland. . Acting Corporal Wilfred Nixon Gibbons; father,. Mr W. W. Gibbons, Parnell. Auckland. Squadron Leader Williams is a son of Canon W. G. Williams, of Napier.
