BOWLING

KAIKORAI CLUB The annual meeting of the Kaikorai Bowling Club was held last week. Mr C. Armstrong was in the chair. The an nual report showed that the club had enjoyed a successful year, securing first position in the Wednesday Competition the Four-rink Championship, and the Leads and Seconds, and being runner-up in the Saturday Competition. It' was decided to install electric lighting on the greens for the coming season. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year President, Mr G. Ritchie; vice-presidents, Messrs G. H. Baker and A. Wheeler; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Johnson; representative on the centre, Mr W. O. Clark; delegate, Mr O. B. Ufton; committee—Messr S. Devereux. J. Jackson, J. Fraser, H. Luskie, W. Rendall, J. Clarkson, O. B. Uftoiv T. Anderson, J. Dixon, and W. O. Clark, selectors—Messrs C. Armstrong, T. Anderson, and J. Stoddart; ties-Messrs J. Jackson, S Devereux, and W. O. Clark; billiards, G. Ritchie and C. Armstrong.
