NOTES FROM RICCARTON

(Special) CHRISTCHURCH, July 15. A number of horses from Otago who raced at Trentham arrived home yesterday. They included Boloyna, Half and Half, . Trlng, Islay Downs, Grilse,; Dark Folly and Fairy Godmother. A strong team of Southland horses has come back after racing at Trentham, and they will remain at Riccarton for the Grand National meeting. Among them are Spendthrift, Noko, Bashful Lady, Socks; Sing Sing, Royal Chorus, Royal Brief, and Platform. Two Auckland horses, Kronos and Town Survey, arrived at Riccarton yesterday, and will complete their preparation here for important events at the Grand National meeting.
