THE RIGHTS OF MAN

Sir,—l read with much interest the letter under the above title in Saturdays Daily Times by “True Bill.” If Mr Fraser really believes that “all men are created equal ” why does he not act accordingly? Why does his Government treat the producers so differently from the way that it treats the waterside workers and the coal miners? Mr Fraser evidently wants us all to believe that his idea of" a perfect State is the same as that of the authors of the American Declaration of Independence. We want a Government that will -work for the beuefit oi the whole country and not merely for a portion of it. Socialism interferes with all' private enterprise, thus it stifles it and of course kills it. That is why Socialism destroys wealth; it never creates wealth! —I aril, etc.. Maran-atha. July 12.
