AWARDED THE D.S.O.

SQUADRON LEADER G. D. SISE Squadron Leader G. D. Sise, of Dunedin, who was awarded the D.F.C. in February last has now received a fresh distinction, the high honour of the D.S.O. This information was received a few days ago by Squadron Leader Sise’s father, Mr R. G. Sise, of 4 Alva street, Dunedin. Squadron Leader Sise was born in Dunedin and was educated at the High Street School and the Otago Boys’ High School. He learned to fly at the Taieri aerodrome, and joined the R.N.Z.A.F. in October, 1939. # On his arrival in England h'e was posted to Coastal Command of the R.A.F.
