CITIZENS’ DAY NURSERY

The coirtmittee of the Dunedin Citizens’ Day Nursery met on Tuesday. The president, Mrs J. McGill, was in the chair, and Mrs L. G. McLean was welcomed as a new member. The secretary (Miss A. Borrie) reported that during April 421 children were left at the nursery. Of this number about 16 cared for each day while their mothers were at work. During February. March, and April over 1500 children were left at the nursery.
