TO-DAY’S MATCHES The Otago Rugby Union’s 1943 competitions will open to-day. So many entries were received for the First Grade competition that it was decided to divide it into two divisions, and there is a possibility of additional teams being nominated. Two University teams will play at Carisbrook, University F (Mining School) meeting Army R at 1.30 p.m., and University Medical meeting Air Force A at 3 p.m. At University Oval, at 2.30 p.m., University Combined Faculties A will play Zingari-Richmond, and the other Combined Faculties team will meet Union on the North Ground at 2.30 p.m. At Bishopscourt the attraction is Kaikorai v. Dunedin, also at 2.30 p.m. The Second Division games are Port Chalmers v. Training College, at Port Chalmers, and University D v. Air Force B, at the Air Force ground. Entrance to Carisbrook will be by the Burns street entrance.
