OBITUARY
MR J. E, ROBINS
The death occurred on Wednesday at his residence, Trent street, Oamaru, of Mr John Edward Robins, a respected former business man of the town. He was born at Dunedin, and when a boy came to Oamaru with his parents. On leaving school he went into the furniture business with his father, Mr J. T. Robins, and a brother, Mr Joseph Robins. After the death of their father the two brothers carried on the business for many years until their retirement. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
