An extension of its yearly tram ticket from six to seven days a week was agreed to recently by the Auckland Transport Board. The decision was made in response to a request that it be available on Sundays, possibly at an increased rate. In view of the number of patrons making the request, said the engineer and manager, Mr A. E. Ford, he would recommend the alteration. The cost agreed upon will be £l4 14s a year, instead of £l2 12s, as before. Two reasons whv Kaitangata Coal is the' favourite are its great heat and Its lasting qualities.—Advt.
