HOWIE.—On April 25, at the Waikato Hospital, David, widower of the late Margaret Howie; aged 82 years.—lnterred at Te Awamutu, Monday, April 26. JEWISS. —On April 29, 1943 (suddenly), at Balclutha, Henry Robert (Harry), beloved husband of Elsie Mary Jewiss (nee Gould), of Tahakopa School and late of Dunedin, and loved father of Colleen and Bobby; in his thirty-seventh year. Deeply mourned.—Friends are invited to attend his Funeral, which will leave Hope and Kinaston’s Chapel, 78 St. Andrew street, Dunedin, on Sunday, May 2, at 2.45 p.m. (service at 2.30 p.m.), for the Northern Cemetery.—W.
