WEALTHY ITALIANS
A NUMBER INTERNED LONDON, Mar. 28. • Wealthy Italians taking refuge in luxurious villas on the Adriatic coast from R.A.F. bombing have been interned. « The Rome radio says: “These people were going around dressed in a most ridiculous manner and behaving in a most snobbish way. Women were walking about in men’s clothes, as though the British bombs had destroyed all their belongings and left them • only their husbands’ and sons’ trousers. There is no other remedy for such people but internment or some good British bombs.”
