Mr St. C. Ferguson left for Christchurch on Saturday. Mr A. N. I-laggitt returned from Wellington on Saturday. Mr C. T. Lee left for Wanganui by the through express on Saturday. Mr George Stewart was a passenger for Auckland by the through express yesterday. Mr -L. M. Wright, who has charge of the tea division for the Government, returned to Wellington. by the through express on Saturday. Mr Alexander Martin, president of the Master Tailors’ Association, left by the through express on Saturday for Wellington to take part in a deputation to the Minister of Supply, Mr D. G. Sullivan, to discuss matters relating to the tailoring trade. Passengers who left for the north by the airliner on Saturday were Mr D, Langley, Miss M. E. Maxwell, Mr R. Summers, and Miss L. Davidson for Christchurch, Mr B. C. Watt, Mr L. C. Hazlett, and Mr H. Mandeno for Wellington, Mr A. W. Jeavons and Miss J. M. Lister for Auckland.
