NIGHT FLYING CRASH

TWO AIRMEN KILLED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 28. Two members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, both residents of Wanganui, lost their lives during a night flying test at a South Island air station on Wednesday, when the aircraft crashed. The personnel concerned were: Sergeant Louis John Norfolk Gumbley; father, Mr C. N. Gumbley, 64 Bignell street, Wanganui. Acting-Corporal Eric Courtney Bell; mother, Mrs J. C. Bell, Springvale road, Wanganui.
