CRICKET
REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES The return representative match between Otago and Canterbury will be played at Carisbrook to-morrow and on Saturday. Play will be commenced at 10.30 a.m. and continued till 6 p.m. The match in Christchurch at Christmas provided an exciting finish, and, as Canterbury is sending down a strong team, it is expected that bright cricket will be witnessed at Carisbrook. The presence of C. F. Allcott and F. Bellamy should considerably strengthen the Otago team both in batting and bowling. The return match between Otago and Southland will be played at Invercargill to-morrow and on Saturday. The Otago team will leave by the 4.40 p.m. train to-day. Several changes have been made in the team, which is now as follows: —L. C. Baker (captain), R. C. Barnes. T. J. Dowsett, McArthur, D. Murdoch, R. Fea, .1. Cullen, Langford Smith. I. Jack, J. Frascr, R. K. Burke, and Murdoch (King's High School).
